Hi all engineers,
I would like to ask lightning protection for substation, normally you guys design this protection using "fixed angle" method or using "EMG - Rolling Sphere" method ? If any engineers here practice the method of Rolling Sphere, may I know how you guys find the surge impedance in the section of transformer bay where as there is no conductor installed on it. or I may still not understand clearly the term conductor in the formula. All I mentioned above from IEEE Std 996-1996. Regards, Linspire Edited: 13 September 2012 at 02:03 PM by Linspire |
