Request if anyone could direct me to some literature material on biomass gas engine technology which will help develop my understanding of gas engines for biomass. I would like to find out things like typical key operating characteristics for this technology:
- minimum operating level (% rated capacity) - maximum up / down ramp rates (% rated capacity/min) - minimum up time / down time (minutes or hours) - startup time from cold, warm and hot (minutes or hours) - typical efficiency - CO2 emissions intensity (tCO2/MWh) - SOx, NOx, Particulate emissions (PP10) (kg/MWh) - Water consumption (ML/MWh) - planned maintenance requirements (days/year) - forced outage rates (%). - typical capacity factor Are there standards available for gas engines.
