Hi Folks,
I want to determine the possible fault current on one of my generators. The set in question is 2.8MW 480v 0.8pf. I mailed Kato yesterday for the sub transient reactance and they quoted me a figure of 20.2 % anyway i get my fault figure to be 20839 A A couple of ours later the send me a data sheet with the following INSTANTANEOUS SYMMETRICAL FAULT CURRENT 3 PH 20815 L-L 18294 L-N 29863 INSTANTANEOUS ASYMMETRICAL FAULT CURRENT 3 ph 36053 L-L 31687 L-N 51726 can anyone explain to me , tks ------------------------- You can Learn from an Apprentice |
