Could anyone tell me what an Electrical Design Engineer for a DNO does. Is the job office based or a mixture of office and on site?

Mainly office based with meetings on site.
Designing distribution layouts for new developments and connections, working out costs. Pricing replacement of plant jobs. Helping making up budget proposals. Varies a lot from company to company, nothing too technical as most DNO's use fairly standard systems. |

Electrical engineering is a field of engineering that generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism. It is mixture of office and site.
