Hello
I'm a part time student currently studying an Electrical Engineering degree and my final year project is based on modelling a proposed on-shore power generation system using an electrical engineering software tool to analyse load flow, short circuit, voltage rise, protection etc. However, as my background is oil&gas and process plant, I'm lacking all the data to input into the model for 11kV overhead lines. Would anyone happen to have a table (or know where I could find one) providing typical values for resistance, capacitance, reactance susceptance B with zero,1,2 Sequence values etc? Any help would be much appreciated. ------------------------- What can happen, will happen. |

Hopefully this will point you in the right direction. Two references
Try cable manufactuers datasheets for the electrical properties, you will need to know the length of the cable http://www.aeicables.co.uk/ and Electric Cables Handbook avalaible via the IET knovel ebooks, specifically chapter 10. This will give you a hand with Positive, Negative and Zero Sequence Impedance for cables. Ta Bryan |
