I am trying to understand how grid efficiency is calculated. Rather than taking an average, I assume that there are transformer losses at times during the day when there is no load and transformer losses at parts of the day at full load. I am interested at the 11kv circuit level although information at high voltage would be interesting - is there somewhere I can find out more information or does anyone have any access to such information?
