I am after some advice. "17th edition states that a static UPS should comply with BS EN 62040. BS62040 states that a UPS shall be provided with an integral single switching device, which prevents further supply to the load by the UPS in any mode of operation. The requirement is not mandatory for pluggable UPS if permitted by national wiring rules."
The question is, "If I have a small tower stand alone UPS of 3KVA protecting a voice switch, do I require to have an emergency switching device (EPO) fitted? Grateful for any assistance.
