I am trying to find out what standards should be applied for design and testing of high voltage motors.
Any ideas? I cannot seem to find any hits on the IEC or BS websites. Doug Florence - Technical Manager - CCQS UK Ltd. |

Doug,
With regards to IEC you could take a look at the IEC 60034 series. There are multiple parts to it however Part 1 has general design and testing sections, hopefully that would lead you on to any other relevant sections/parts. Hope that helps. |

LV motor shall be to IEC-60034 & BS EN 60079 standards Is what we often get from clients so might be worth a read
