Hi :)

I have been recently involved in developing a design study material on lightening arresters (LA's) for use in 33kV/ 66 kV/ 220kV lines. The LA's are used in Main Sub stations.

I have read various manufacturer details and technical specs by refering to IEC 60099-Part 4 standards for understanding the specifications. Reviewed various journals nad online technical specifictions.

Stil have some doubts over how do we select the thickness or height of resistor for various kV high voltage lines and systems.

Request to give your valuable suggestions as it will enhance my development? If any table available request to explain and share the knowledge.

Thanks in advance.
