There is requirement to install underground cable which is 16mm2 2 core XLPE/SWA/PVC cable. This cable needed to connected from metal 3 phase distribution board ( from one of the phase) to plastic single phase distribution board. My question is do I need to run separate 16 mm2 CPC cable with the SWA cable underground? How do I terminate the other end of the cable at plastic single phase distribution board because of armour within the cable?
