This is a quick (or not) question regarding the use and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Does your company use GD&T, if so what industry are you in and which standard do you work to? Do you find your suppliers understand it (GD&T)? Is there a difference between UK and suppliers from other countries? Is the use of GD&T a recent thing for your company? Where did you learn GD&T, college on the job, etc.? And finally, what are your general thoughs on GD&T |

Thanks for the reply. My question isn't about how to tolerance a component or what is tolerancing, but which companies use GD&T and what problems they encounter. Judging by the lack of replies there are not many who do! David. |
