I have recently been asked to change a commercial, 18 way distribution board. I understand once i change the db i am responsible for all out going circuits. Does this mean if i change any db, no matter how many circuits are incorporated, i have to ensure all outgoing circuits meet the 17th regs? And if for instance 10 circuits do not meet the 17th edition i have to inform the customer they cannot reconnect these circuits and its going to cost a lot more now to reinstate them?
Please pass on any advice. Much appreciated |
