Hi
This isn't my usual forum, so here goes: I used to work with a qualified manager a few years back. Who used to describe 3 person Philosophy/Philosophers in management, which I'm guessing he was lectured on. As describe to me: First would be to take a relaxed focus towards problems and people management, third, would be the complete opposite to the first. Second would take the in-between approach. I do apologise for the vague descriptions, I'm after the name for these Philosophies/Philosophers if anyone had an idea into what I'm talking about, I cannot of love nor money remember the name, although they used to be stamped in my head. Any help or info I would appreciate! Many thanks. Shaun |

I've come across all sorts of management theory over the years; all of it a load of tosh.
People are born managers and leaders. Intuition should play its part in managing people, but alas it's the text book. Perhaps that's what is wrong with the UK. |
