Have been asked by a customer to run in a cable to be terminated in a vga socket plate. Can anyone tell me what type of cable will i need to install? The run will be about 22m long.
Thanks |

If the cable is 22m long i would recomend a 1.5mm Twin/earh cable clipped direct to a piece of soft wood.

I believe that the above is a VGA socket plate (or at least a variant of one). You'll need the cabling that simonhowes2 has already mentioned about; it's simply a matter of running the cable from the customer's presentation equipment, behind the wall & up to the socket plate. The cabling would have to be set up as Drwyn mentioned; it would need to be held to the wall's joists with carpentry staples. ------------------------- Technology: something that's hated & cursed at by all engineers, technologists & technicians! ( Lousy modern technology! |
