Hi there,
I spoke at length to an electrician today about led downlights from Link Removed .
He will be supplying ours if we go ahead with him and I wanted to understand what we will be getting.
He says he's putting stuff that builders use and that he's never had a problem with them and that I will be happy with the result. He was adamant that the more pricier stuff was a waste of money and that paying the extra just didn't make sense.
He talked of voltage, watts and other numbers and it all became a blur to me...I really don't know better and want to be armed with a bit more info when I talk to him. Any recommendations on decent quality LED downlights would be much appreciated.

You might like to re-post this on the Wiring and Regulations forum. There have been several threads on this topic, and the regular contributors have a lot of experience of the available LED downlights.
