Can anybody tell me what are RF drivers? What are they used for?

It's a low level amplifier which amplifies the output of the frequency divider to a level suitable to drive the Power Mosfet Amplifier to full output. It probably has some filtering as well.
This is a repeat of what I put on the Communications forum. |
