Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew of any good basic electronics courses in the Yorkshire area? I have two new members of staff I would like to send and would appreciate any recomendations.

Derby College offers quite a good range of courses, I'm currently a student there on a foundation degree in electrical and electronic engineering and can defenatly recommend it.
The college is opposite the train station which is convenient. Rotherham College also offers decent courses; I did my NC/HNC in electrical and electronic engineering there. |

Not courses as such but I can recommend this site:

It depends on what area of electrical work you are going to what them to undertake and what level they are already at.
If its mainly domestic or they have very little knowledge of electrical knowledge, a NVQ or 17th edition would be useful. Or If your wanting them to do more industry practices or have a more advanced knowledge of electrical knowledge, a BTEC National in Electrical and Electronic Engineering would be good.
