Hi, im a student a leeds university studying mechatronics and robotics, my 3rd year project is programming an ABB robotic arm and building an end effector to attach to it, as the robot is new to the university there is no one with any experience in the to offer guidance.
Does anyone have any possible contacts in a company that would be willing to teach me in exchange for working for them one day a week?
A long shot i know, i do have experience in automation and electronics having worked for stage one creative services technical department for four years.

Any help would be fantastic.

Thanks.

Hi,

I randomly stumbled across your post. I do some stuff with ABB robots for a company in Swindon (its a bit far from Leeds I know). What are you doing for your project?
