Hi, I am currently working for an electrical installation company who's work is mostly in the the water industry, a lot of us here have a lot of experience in Panel Building but the company it self doesn't have any accreditation for panel building panels. So far i know we have to be able to CE our product and build the panels to BS 61439. I was just wondering if anyone would be able to point me in the right direction as to what else would be needed. Thanks for you help

Hi,

GAMBICA produce a technical guide to the requirements of 61439 which will provide an overview of what is required and how you can verify the design.

You can download this from their web site.

Hope this helps

It depends what the panels are for, if its machines then BS60204 part 1 applies and so do quite a few others that cover emergency stops, interlocking systems etc, Schneider list all these BS standards on their website.
