I'm looking for circuit breakers, overloads and contactors suitable for starting 1.5 Kw & 4.0 Kw motors fed by 1140 V 3 Phase.
Can anyone point me in the right direction, Thanks.

A rough guide is as follows:

1. Check the motor rated current.
2. Select a C type Circuit Breaker with rating about 2-2.5 times rated current.
3. Select the overload with a range starting from 70% to 130% of the rated current.
4. Select the contactor rating with 100% current rating with appropriate category.

normally the low voltage equipment are rated for 1000v0lts, ur voltage for equipment is 1.140kv, which is some thing very different? i believe this some type error for ur voltage level.....the overload setting shall be upto 130% and breaker size shall be 1.25% of nominal rating...contactor shall be also suitable for rating of 130%
