How do I find the excitation current and the motor constant (R1)of 3phase motor.
Need to enter values into inverter. Regards Tim |

When you say excitation current, are you referring to the starting current of the motor? If so, I'd suggest your best bet is the torque curve characteristics for the motor would have this information. Info of the motor p.f and steady state current rating are usually labelled on the motor as well.
