I would appreciate any advice on stepper motor selection for confined spaces from the community.
I am looking for a hybrid stepper motor, ideally with a step angle of 1.8 degrees, that will fit into a space approximately 10mm by 10mm. The only stepper motors I can find are permanent magnet with step angle of 18 degrees. |

I did consider locating the motor elsewhere and using gears and belt, however I was informed this would decrease the precision of the stepper motor movements.
