Hi folks,
Trying to get online with Honeywel 2ML in a redundant CPU configuration. Plugged in the laptop and recieved the "new hardware" pop-up from windows, but it can't the driver it needs from the net. Anyone know where I can get the driver? Don't know anything about Honeywell PLC's, so any advice greatfully recieved. Thanks in advance. Phil |

You should have the PLC's user manual with you; it should tell you how to connect to the PLC.
I have more experience with Rockwell 500 PLC; in my case, all I needed to do was install the IDE that came with the PLC & link to it via an Ethernet router (the driver was included with the IDE). Perhaps you don't have the PLC's IDE installed, so it's not picking up the hardware & communicating. But first, read the manual. ------------------------- Technology: something that's hated & cursed at by all engineers, technologists & technicians! ( Lousy modern technology! |

Install the SoftMaster software which is the integrated PLC programming environment for the Honeywell MasterLogic.
Good luck. |
