Our installation uses 5 No. Westermo converters which are obsolete.
We need new replacements. Anyone any idea who makes converters to suit DH+ Protocol. Any advice welcome Thank you William

Have you spoken to westermo, I always found them very helpful.
One of their tech managed to get a 485signal across wet string! There are some AB partners that make converters, I apologize, I'm out of the office at the minute, so can't access my business cards right now. |

I agree. It is worth asking Westermo what alternatives they recommend. I have successfully deployed a 9.6k RS232 service over a 2.5mm 7-core pilot cable with their line drivers - running perfectly well over about 8km!
Regards, Alan. |

Many thanks Stableford and Alancapon.
I will follow up your advice. We have lost two devices in service and maintained communications by hardwiring the DH+ connections between PLC's. Works ok but best to plan for replacements. Much appreciate your quick reply. |
