Our company is implementing a calibration procedure for crimp tools. The procedure will need to pass external audits such as from LRQA. We are currently looking at implementing an in-house pull-test calibration procedure. We crimp BNCs, TNCs, RJ45 and RJ11 plugs, bootlace ferrules, D-type, and insulated and non-insulated lugs on stranded comms cable. Could someone point us to a procedure or standard we could refer to so we can implement a procedure that will pass external audits. Could someone also suggest a pull-tester that we could purchase. Not sure if we would need different pull-testers for different connectors. Thank you.
