Hi, I'm new here and was looking for a bit of help from anyone who may be familiar with mechanical timers. I am replacing an old Horstmann 423 diamond timer in my house.I am replacing with a new Horstmann 425 tiara. When I removed the old one I noted that I had 3 black wires going to N, 3 bare wires going to earth, and 3 red wires. The first went to 1, which was linked to L and 3.The second went to 2, and the 3rd wire went to 4.Could anyone give me any assistance as to hook up the new Tiara timer? Thanks.

On the new tiara, blacks are all neutrals (N), bare copper is earth, should be sleeved accordingly with green/yellow sleeving. The first red is permanent live (L) requires links to both 2&5, the second red (2) should go in 1 and third red (4) should go in 4.
