Hi all,

Just to start I do solely industrial work so don't judge my ignorance.

If an carrying out an eicr on a premises which has the consumer tails split to feed the main cu for the property and a smaller one for the power in an outside shed.

Would the be completed on one form or two?

Treat as separate installation?

BS 7671 definition of an installation is sufficiently flexible (or vague) that you could validly treat that as either one big installation covering two buildings, or two installations. So I'd say do which ever you find most convenient. Personally I'd probably tempted to treat it as one big installation, especially if bits of one were physically located within the other. Bear in mind that other opinions could be equally valid when looking at things like the presence/absence of a single main switch though.
