If you believe the press report then it's possibly one of the old 11kv circuits in the high street that's gone bang.

The 2nd video (of the fire service on scene) says it all. No cordon, some guy with a camera phone casually strolls between the fire appliance and the firefighters..... Circuits never re-close when you want them too
