I just feel like making a change but please to do ask me why as I don't really know. Am considering changing schemes from NICEIC from which I have belonged for many years to NAPIT. Has anyone else undertaken such an adventure and how did you find your new 'family'?

I wouldn't bother changing either way.
There's other more interesting aspects of work that need the attention like developing more skills and fine tuning the career path.
Changing club is really low on the priority list.
Unless you've got it all sussed, then nice one

Yes.
Went from ELECSA to NAPIT earlier this year.
I think NAPIT are slightly more clued up than ELECSA. Their online job notification is worse.
They have quarterly regional meetings which are worth attending. They have the only website that includes all Contratcors (electricsafe) whereas the NIC/ECA one is for their members only, which annoyed me as they say they are promoting industry wide safety, yet will only include their paid up memebrs on their equivalent (Electrical safety register) site.

NAPIT are slightly cheaper too which always helps.
