morning, went to price a a bathroom renovation last night, nice easy install of 6 spot lights, as the ceiling is being lowered so the plumber can reroute pipe for rad etc(its in a flat), new supply for mirror light and replace shower with new(same rating etc). the Cu is a rewirable wylex, all bonding and supplemental bonding in place. trying to come up with the best option for satisfying rcd protection, and clients wallet.
my first thought is re-routing the 10mm supply for the shower into a shower unit fitted outside bathroom at high level(come through where ceiling is dropping) then feed shower and lights etc off the 40a and 6amcb's. rewiring not an issue as tiles etc all coming off and being replaced.
do you see any issues with this?

Sounds like a reasonable idea, personally I think I'd be more likely to put a front end RCD before the Wylex board at the meter position.

I'd be going front end RCD, it's a flat.
