Best place to buy ?

Also How much ?

I need to update .

Another question is ive been told that now buildings that have more than 10 bedrooms need addressable systems ?

How do we now tell building owners that what was ok is now not ?

Or do we just put on the test sheets non compliant to current regs .

I have to admit ive not read the current standards but need to purchase one ASAP. so not sure the above is correct

thanks

Lots and you really need part 6 as well because that's been updated

I need to update .

How much fire alarm work do you do ?

Not really - for care homes and the like, ie sheltered housing, then the system must be able to identify dwelling of origin - that still doesn't mean it has to addressable.

Not sure that's what you heard but that's the only one that springs to mind in the changes

How do we now tell building owners that what was ok is now not ?

Easy - regulations change and safety standards improve over time

Or do we just put on the test sheets non compliant to current regs .

Basically yes - but be sure of your facts rather than badly communicated rumours

I have to admit ive not read the current standards but need to purchase one ASAP. so not sure the above is correct

I suspect it isn't (wholly) - perhaps if I point you to publications by a certain Celt by the name of Colin Todd - I think he's just brought out his guides to both Part 1 and Part 6 - keeping in mind that neither document has had a comprehensive update from the last edition - the changes are minor

thanks
