Customers kitchen florrie failed and he wants a replacement. However there's no cpc, so even though he's had this metal cased version for years, I'm not able to replace it (he eyed me with some suspicion when I told him this) I told him I'd look for a double insulated alternative but cant find one (except the IP variety better suited to greenhouses)
Any ideas where I might find a 5' single florrie thats either double insulated or plastic?
Thanks
Simon

Been there esspeegee. I used up loads of time finding suggestions for them and then they got Johnny Dodgy Pants to change the fitting for them, without a CPC.

I think the closest you are going to get is under cabinet light fittings which are double insulated, or some of the 2D fittings (not pretty either). LED might provide a solution for you?

I'm not sure about this, but I think fittings with a capacitor in them all require a CPC?? I can't think of any which don't.

If you find a solution please let us know, this could be really helpful.

Could also try the Thorn 'Mandi' fluorescent battens. They take up to a 39W T5, and are Class-II
