Have been chatting to a friend who has told me that he is doing an electrical job at the local community hall (putting in a hand drier) I only thought he was a domestic installer, can he do a job like that and if so how does it have to be registered if at all. I only do domestic so not sure if he should be doing this job?

Good grief.
Who told you what you could and couldn't do?

This doesn't fall under the scope of PartP at all.

Anyway, why limit your life to the realms of what the NICEIC proscribe for you?

Thanks for quick reply, I was just concerned that he was "against" the law, and may open up a can of worms, I take it all he needs to do is supply an EIC for job done, I am seeing him tomorrow and let him know that I was wrong as I told him he may not be allowed

You've been reading the ESC latest missive where they state with great authority that only registered electricians can do any electrical works.

If I told you, only I can do everyones electrical work, would you believe me? (why not??)
