Hi , I installed two radial circuits for a kitchen in a commercial premises.
I have installed each circuit on its own B20 Loadmaster Rcbo. Tested the Rcbos Today and came across a problem with one of the Rcbos. On 1x test it tests fine , but on the 5x test on 180 degrees it kept giving me >40. It tests fine on 0 degrees 7.9ms. It will only test fine if I actually disconnect the load at the Rcbo 18.3ms. Now I know that the Rcbo should be tested with the load disconnected but I have never had to physically disconnect the outgoing load from the Rcbo before, I would just make sure that all loads were disconnected from the circuit. Is the Rcbo good or should I replace it. Regards |

If it tests ok off-load I wouldn't worry about it Tillie, that's the way we're told to do it!
