Maybe the wrong place to ask, however looking to monitor room/pipe stat temperatures, 240 volt switching and 24 volt switching without actually being near the property.
Anyone got any experiance? I hear British gas are installing heating controls that you can connect to router and can monitor heating and set remote, this is what I'm looking to basically. ------------------------- Dougie Power Plus Electrical.co.uk My mission is to live as long as possible......so far so good! |

You can use a NETIOM to do switching and monitoring both ways over a network. It'll also handle analogue values. Got mine from CPC.

You could also use a PLC to switch and monitor. Remote control over IP is fairly straightforward and you could use your i device.
