Without looking it up, - continuity of conductor, size of conductor(adiabatic if necessary), Is termination/fixing of conductor in good order.

Thanks for the reply. I saw this as one of those C&G questions where what was being asked wasn't entirely clear (eg the tie up between protective and functional earthing!).
