Evening been doing a right pain of a outside light job .
Involves windows which are full length up to roof line with a little recess where i can just get into to clip a black flex into it . on the brickwork between the windows i am using black pvc pipe the a stuffing gland at the end and flex out to the window recess , Also i am flexing out to lights with black flex . Am i right in thinking black flex is the way to go with outside lighting jobs beats twin and earth ? on this job its high up & no danger of being damage Cheers |

I use black round pvc flex most of the time for outside lights if it's unlikely to sustain physical damage, for the longer runs I normaly use Hi-Tuff into a Wiska box and then the black flex from the box to the lamp,

I prefer black fp as its more rigid and stays rigid even after weathering whereas flex sags between clips.
I also do not clip outside ever because it just fails. I go with P clips. |

I prefer black fp....... £££££!! Nice idea though, never even come across black FP! Having mentioned the cost above, I have actually started using FP a lot more recently for surface jobs as it does dress really nicely. |
