Well you must have noticed?

OMS has a new name 'deleted 19 OMS'.

I guess I must have missed something. Perhaps a post so intelligent that the IET exploded in jealousy? Perhaps the ghost of Cockburn is lurking in the IET comms room? Perhaps, ah yes, that'll be it, welcome to the super-hacker-highway and somebody else did it? Last I read OMS and Mart were having a little spat about something and it was all quite pedestrian.

I've tried email and text to no avail. I am a touch worried.

IMHO this forum goes nowhere without a few key players and OMS is at the top of that list.

Anyone know if OMS is OK?

If OMS is allowed back, then I think we should choose his new name.

No word from OMS. He may be hiding as a result of being banned. Why?

If you delete yourself from this forum does it also change your ID to 'deleted'? Or does that have to be done by the mods?

It could be any thing
1/ He got fed up with the daft posters on this forum
2/ He retired to a little island in the Bahamas for a new simple life fishing.
3/ His face didn't fit with others in club and then chose to disassociate himself from those who might choose to discredit him
4/ He lost money on Lloyds and so chose to cut his losses
5/ He has made so much money from his consultancies that he has gone on a permanent cruise around the world.
6/ He's fallen foul of some mafia organization and has done a runner
7/ He decided to turn off his activity here just to see what might surface
8/ He's met a member of the fairer sex who's adamant that he must choose whether to be a geek or a lover.........
9/ He's hit the bottle

What the deuce? Please keep us updated Zs. Won't be the same on here without the grandmaster.

Well I for one would not like to see him go - I am on here every day and its always interesting to read all posts and keep up to speed. I am sure he's somewhere but you know the olde saying - the clubs bigger than any individual - and will continue. Lets hope hes back soon!

Worry not my friends I can assure you he is alive and well and his absence is due to a computer glitch. It's OK though as while he is away it gives us lesser mortals a chance to look clever.
