Two things:

1. No Amendment No. 2 yet

2. Surely Additions and Alterations should comply with the current requirements at the time of the alteration or addition. BS7671 may well have moved on if some time after Amendment No. 2 comes out?

Amd. 2 has been in draft form for a while now, so i'm sure some industry reps have had their copy, and , I think, it was due to be released on 1st Jan 2013, ( could someone from the IET confirm? ), so the sticker company are just making their stickers ready for the release.

Like the PAT lables, which have been updated, yet the wholesalers have 1000's of the old ones on their shelves, at least these are up to date, and dont need to be used until the new AMD comes out.

1st point - Yes we are all working to Ammendment 1
2nd point - No longer IEE, now the IET

and these labels have been on sale for approximately one year. I wonder how many they've sold???

just a bit premature then. No one made them for any other editions, so why start now?

With the addition of minor points- vehicle charging- will anyone really bother??

Hi alan, agree!

I have been wondering for some time we must be due something and yours is the first mention I've seen of this....

....There's still a link from the forum homepage to the old amd1 DPC in the black dropdown wiring regulations box.....

Is it definitely going to be ammd 2 - the way things are chopping and changing these days I'm half expecting the 18th edition to emerge!
