Can't you fit an enclosure with a double module rcbo, hager or something?

Yes normally however this is replacing MCB's on an electric boiler that has 16amp chint MCB's the control enclosure for each element . the chint mcb is mounted on the side of the boiler in a plastic enclosure and has the connections tight pressed against other components inside control center and hence the no room problem.
im wanting the rcbo 2pole as an 3kw electric element failure will isolate element and mean boiler can still run however one element down and not needing me to go fix a n-e element fault. ------------------------- Dougie Power Plus Electrical.co.uk My mission is to live as long as possible......so far so good! |

The are compact and double pole I have purchased the RCBO separately before You want their HR4 series, which are not on their website, give them a ring and they should be able to sell you some. http://www.raytechinternational.com/caravan_hook_up |

Quite popular in France, Hager, Mollier x pole etc.
Generally when the L&N terminals are in-line (side by side) as you look at them, they are double pole switching. Regards Ady ------------------------- Resistance is futile. |
