200a TP&N Dist Board
Posted by Dave Lincoln on Dec 5, 2012 7:04 Hi I have a customer having a new 3PH (TT) supply put into a farm / processing complex. - 4 seperate buildings + farm house. At present he has split phase, but is upping his production facilities. Western power are putting a cabinet in central to the buildings containing 4 x 100amp 3PH heads & 1 x 200amp 3PH head. I am currently fitting out the unit to be supplied by the 200A supply and am struggling to find a 2300 distibution board with a 200a 100ma RCCB kit. I usually get involved in domestic or 100a ph stuff!! Should I be looking for something different?? Thanks Dave |

Look at merlin gerin /schenider isobar 4. Every possible configuration available.
What protection is available for the submain between the supply position and the new unit that you are doing?? I'll second that Pete - do you need an RCCB main switch - the protection will/should be back at the service position
MG Isobar 4 or NX compact with an add on earth leakage module in enclosure would give you isolation, OL and SC protection and the module will give you EF protection Regards OMS ------------------------- Failure is always an option |

Merlin or Hager. Either works for me.
I've just installed a nice 400A merlin one that is adjustable for the RCD tripping parameters for a grain store. Stu |

Look at the Merlin with the mgi2003 incomer kit as Oms said clip the add on module in for any level of protection Over / under voltage EF ETC ETC
