We have just had power restored following a cable fault and our next door neighbour's ADE Accenta Ideal alarm went off when they entered. She has not used it since moving in and has also lost the code.
Looks like the battery has failed and thus the panel has reset to default code. Grateful if anyone who has the default code or standard engineer's code could let me know. By PM if you prefer. Thanks! Clive ------------------------- Clive S Carver GCGI IEng MIET |

I believe that Honeywell make this unit.
If you goooooogle Honeywell, you may be able to download a manual. Regards Mike |

Thanks for all replies.
Also managed to locate a free copy of the manual on-line, but have yet to wade through it as another neighbour also had problems with a tripped breaker - the type which trip to the half way point, so he couldn't spot it. Scottish Power still working to restore power to a few houses, seems either a 3P+N joint has failed maybe due water ingress from a water meter fitted early this year which is somewhat close to the cable. if you want to default the panel power down mains and battery link between 13 and 23 power up default customer code 0123 default engineer code 9999 Well done mate,a PM though would perhaps have been more sensible!. ------------------------- Those who make no mistakes do very little work!!...... |
