Whats the best way to post links to photos?

Upload them to another site (e.g. photobucket) and paste the URL to them in a message. (Some care is needed if you use the [http] or [https] buttons - the easiest way is just to paste the whole URL (http:// included) directly into the main typing box (although you don't get a pretty label that way).

Photobucket and other similar upload sites are pretty safe. your just uploading a link to the picture you want to show.
