Why don't they supply these monstrous cookers with a suitable cable ready for connection. i am trying to source a 5 core 4mm or 6mm flex. Does anyone know where i can source any. Probably only need 3 or 4 meters .

I think this company sells it.
www.ddacables.com Could be expensive though - I've had 3-core from tlc-direct at around £8 per metre before now. Good luck. Tony |

Cheers, i can't see it but i have had another thought.
What are your thoughts on Stripping the armour off of a 6mm 5core and running the inner double insulated bit in a bit of flexi conduit ? I am running the supply in this anyway so just need to order a bit more. Gary ------------------------- Specialised Subject. The Bleedin Obvious. John Cleese |

I have some and lots of other similar specialist/rarely used cable/equipment from past jobs. Is there a site where you can list this and if not perhaps a forum would help reduce stock taking up space or being discarded (not very green)??? In the past (before the internet) I have actually supplied wholesalers when I had items they couldn't readily source.

we used 1000's of meters of 6mm 4 or 5 core HO7 buytal on a site recently. Used loads of it and they would cut it to any length we asked, no mater how small.
