Chaps,

I finally got around to using my iCertifi app on the iphone in anger.

It's all good if a little fiddly to use onsite (peering into the phone after each test result seem more awkward than making a note on a nice easy to read piece of A4).

I'm not sure I like the fact that it doesn't allow any kind of file storage or multiple certs at once?

Once completed, it is only possible to export the certificate in pdf format, something that's not compatible with Apples iCloud set up!

Is there a planned option to export in txt or Word format thus making it uploadable to the cloud for archiving?

No secure PDF to send direct to client, save to Dropbox, or print.

Have downloaded the update & it looks good so far (especially with the 6 months free!)

Have printed a blank EIC to get a better look at it & noticed that P6 (DB Details) & P7 (Installation Methods & Details of vunerbale equip) print in portrait & are on seperate pages.

Just an opinion but think it would look better if P6 & P7 were on 1 page in landscape. Is this possible?

Glad you like it rouguediablo, hope it makes electrical testing more productive for you.

I suggest those pages printing like that are to do with printer settings, I have double checked by printing of an EIC and can confirm they are both in landscape (P6 & P7 EIC) in my print.

Indeed it was the printer settings changed it to auto portrait/landscape & all good.

It emails the pdf ok. Any ideas why I can't upload to Dropbox?

From Cert Preview I select Dropbox, then Upload to Dropbox, Dropbox opens & says iCertifi wants access to a folder in your Dropbox, I allow & then get a message saying "Error Authorising App - An error occuued authorizing your app. Please try again".

I also get the following message from Dropbox "Invalid User. Only a limited set of users can access tokens while app is in development mode"

Dropbox is working fine as I use it all the time for other things.

Any ideas?

H guys

I have been using the icertifi app which I found quite useful. However wondered if anyone has come across when describing a circuit as "spare". I normally fill all the remaining values to N/A

Unfortunately on completion there is always a highlight in Red on completion of the certificate particularly in the Insulation Resistance section.

I wondered if anybody has come across this?
