ive got to be honest, i dont see the point in torque settings for MCB's ect. For me it depends on the cable type being used. The old way i was taught is the best in my opinion. Tighten, wiggle and then check tighteness.

Yep "the Craftsmen hands on way" .
In a former life I was an aerospace engineer we used 0 to 1 inch or 0 to 25mm micrometers and used to measure in 1/10 of a thousandth of an inch or 0.01mm using craft feel on said instrument. Yet according to standards at the time you could only be so accurate with two clicks of a properly calibrated ratchet - BOLDERLOLLOCKS we said! That feel took experience and was far better and we proved it time and again against more accurate standards. ------------------------- Regards, Ebee (M I S P N) Knotted cables cause Lumpy Lektrik |
