hi my import /export meter is reading the wrong way the import reading is my export and my export is my inport reading how can i alter this

You cannot alter it. You must get in touch with your Meter Operator (the company that you pay your bills to). They will be able to alter it if necessary, as well as making any corrections that may be needed to your account (providing that all the seals are intact).

Then I'd suggest it's connected the wrong way around.

Are you sure its the wrong way round or are you confused by terminology?

The usual convention is with respect to the SYSTEM (ie. the grid) so the meter will regard EXPORT as grid to you & IMPORT as you to the grid.

Do you still think that your meter is reversed?
