Good evening all.
I'm pricing a job to move the consumer unit location to a different part of the house to the meter. Switched fuse at meter position- swa- consumer unit. Am i correct in thinking that the ccc values would be the same as for pvc seeing as the connected accessories will be rated at 70Deg? ie. i will still need to use 25mm on a 100A fuse.

Yup - treat it as PVC for what you are planning - Table 4D4A Column 2 gives you 118A for a 25mm2 x 2(probably 3) core

Sorry if this is a bit late but I believe the BS standard for pvc/pvc/swa has been withdrawn and won't be replaced and apart from old stock all SWA cables now sold will be XPLE - this will no doubt be one of the future selling points of the next full edition of the regs book.

If you go to eland co uk you can down load a free pdf doc with table 4E4A and table 4E4B .....90C XLPE / PVC /SWA / PVC . Depening on cost it might be worth useing XLPE as 25m twin will carry 146 Amps

@90 degrees, which is higher than the limit for most devices......
