Just encountered my first piece of wireless kit. I caved in and allowed a wireless control system to be fitted to my re-vamped central heating system. Evohome by Honeywell is a very user-friendly and relatively simple to use central control system. Perhaps it knew it was being fitted to an old stick-in-the-mud wiremans house because it has relentlessly mis-behaved. Comms are lost all the time despite having been re-set and suspected parts replaced. Installer has been back many times to attend. He recommended it and said if it didnt work he would replace it. Perhaps there is still a life for wires!

Is it the fancy z wave technology? If so, install some more, perhaps on lights or some such, and the receivers can then also act as repeaters.
