If I knew how to work out how to post a link on this site I could give you a picture of a bathroom fan ducting terminated into the cold water storage tank. It brings a whole new meaning to jacuzzi.

Its not that hard
1/ Write whatever you want to say 2/ Select the URL in the address window by copying (presumably a web site that holds your pics) 3/ Open an (this) editing window 4/ Select 'http' tab above edit window 5/ paste URL link into space provided and press Ok (remove the http:// first) 6/ Select text that you want to be highlighted as your 'pointer' to the URL and press Ok 7/ then write more on whatever you want to say Legh ------------------------- Why do we need Vernier Calipers when we have container ships? http://www.leghrichardson.co.uk "Science has overcome time and space. Well, Harvey has overcome not only time and space - but any objections." |

4/ Select 'http' tab above edit window 5/ paste URL link into space provided and press Ok (remove the http:// first) 6/ Select text that you want to be highlighted as your 'pointer' to the URL and press Ok 7/ then write more on whatever you want to say Or just paste the URL (the web address of your link - complete with the http:// bit) into your message as you're typing it - the Forum software sorts it out. (Although you don't get a label for the link). - Andy. |

You mean like this link? ?
I think you'll have to remove the first 'http://' if you copy/paste the entire URL since it will be duplicated... First open up the Replying to a message window, type the text of your message.
Then open up the website page you want to link. Left click on the addressbar at the top, so that all the text in the addressbar becomes highlighted. Right click on the highlighted text,in the window that opens left click on copy. go back to the Replying to a message window. Left click on the Replying to a message window where you want the link to go. Right click in the same place, in the window that opens left click on paste. Hopefully you don't have a MAC. |

Ok Andy,
this is one method: doh and this is another: Ok Can you spot the difference? Sure, but I think both of those were done by clicking on the http link button - what I'm saying is that it's simpler just to paste the URL into the normal reply (or quick reply) box directly - no buttons, no link names, no editing to remove the transport element of the URL. - Andy. |
